CSA is short for community supported agriculture. This is a direct one on one relationship in which the consumer pays in advance for a share of produce for the growing season. This is beneficial because it guarantees a market for the farmer’s product, reduces some of the risks associated with farming as well as helps reduce waste.
What types of CSA packages do you offer?
We are proud to offer two types of ‘shares’ for our customers:
A Family Share feeds 4-5 people per week.
A Couple’s Share feeds 2-3 people per week.
Our CSA will give you 20 weeks of certified organic local produce!
What can I expect in my CSA?
The produce listed below will always be in your CSA Share but are subject to seasonality. Seasonality means that certain times of year there is an abundance of different crops. So tasty tomatoes come in the summer with corn and winter squash in the fall along with beets, carrots and kale get sweeter during the cold snaps.
What you can expect in your 2018 CSA Share:
